Compulsory third party liability insurance of vehicle owners was introduced in Russia with the Federal Law No. 40-FZ dd. April 25, 2002, effective with July 1, 2003. The law applies to the entire territory of Russia and is mandatory to all vehicle owners.
Covered occurrence means legal liability of a vehicle owner for bodily injury, death and damage to third party property while using the vehicle
If a policyholder is a party at fault in a motor accident, we will indemnify for bodily injury or death caused to third parties and loss of or damage to property belonging to third parties. As provided by law, lump sum compensation is payable under a CMTPL policy.

Sum insured may not be higher than the actual value of an insured vehicles and its additional equipment on the policy inception date.
Under a personal accident policy covering accidental bodily injury or death of a driver or passengers sum insured is subject to mutual agreement between the parties to the policy.
Under a VMTPL policy covering insurance of civil liability of a motor vehicle owner sum insured is agreed between the insurer and the policyholder.
In the event of damage to the insured motor vehicle as a result of a covered risk (excluding total loss), we will pay the repair costs of auto body repair shop from the list of approved repairers.
In the event of a minor damage we will settle a claim with no documents from competent authorities (GIBDD (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate), UVD (Department of Internal Affairs) required.
